“My loyalty is not to a political party. It is to the Constitution and to the people I am asking to serve.”

Gerardo Serrano 🌶️

An independent voice for Eastern Kentucky

He knows what happens when government forgets who it serves.

Gerardo Serrano lives in Jackson County and is running as an Independent for the United States House of Representatives in Kentucky’s 5th Congressional District.

After the federal government seized his truck over five bullets—even though there was no firearm and no criminal conviction—Gerardo fought for years to get his property back. That experience made the Constitution personal.

He is running because Eastern Kentucky deserves a representative who will ask hard questions, read the bills, defend individual rights, and answer to the people instead of a political machine.

Principle before party

A government that remembers its limits.

Gerardo’s test is simple: Is it constitutional? Is it honest? Does it serve the people of Kentucky’s 5th District?

01

Defend the Constitution

Protect due process, the Second Amendment, privacy, and every right that belongs to the people—not to Washington.

02

End Civil Asset Forfeiture

No American should lose property without being charged and convicted. Government must prove its case before taking what is yours.

03

Put Eastern Kentucky First

Bring federal attention home to reliable infrastructure, affordable energy, local jobs, family farms, and communities too often ignored.

04

Stop Blank Checks

Demand stand-alone votes, honest budgets, and an end to endless wars and massive bills written behind closed doors.

05

Keep the Social Security Promise

People paid into Social Security for a lifetime. Congress must protect it and confront insolvency before the crisis arrives.

06

Independent Judgment

No party boss, lobbyist, or president should come before the Constitution or the people of Kentucky’s 5th District.
